About Rose
You should be able to love God and tell the truth about how you are actually doing.
That is what Rose is here for. She helps Christian women face anxiety and burnout with honest faith, real rest, and no shame.

This is for you if you are the woman everyone else leans on.
Does any of this sound familiar?
You are capable. You show up. You lead at home, at church, at work, maybe all three at once. People count on you and you do not let them down. And quietly, privately, you are running on empty.
You have prayed about the anxiety. You have tried to trust more. You have wondered, more times than you would admit, whether a woman with stronger faith would have this more together by now.
Rose has been in that exact place. And she has something to tell you about it.

Meet Rose
Hi, I’m Rose. And I know what it costs to keep looking fine.
For years I was the capable one. I showed up. I held it together. I led a small group, showed up for my family, and smiled in the parking lot on Sundays.
Inside I was anxious, exhausted, and running on a lie I had never examined: that a strong enough faith should have fixed this by now.
Nobody said it out loud. Nobody had to. It was just in the air, quiet and heavy at the same time. And I breathed it in for years. When I finally stopped pretending, it was not a graceful moment. But it was an honest one. And honesty turned out to be the thing I had been missing the whole time.
What helped me was not a formula. It was permission. Permission to stop performing. Permission to need rest. Permission to be a human being who loves God and is not holding it together today.
That permission is what I carry into every room I speak in, every chapter I write, and every email I send. It is not a programme. It is just the truth. And I think you are ready to hear it.
A few things about me
Who am I when I am not on stage?

I am a wife, a mom, and someone who genuinely believes rest is a spiritual practice, not a reward for finishing the to-do list.
I take my faith seriously and myself a little less so. I think the best conversations happen around a kitchen table. I would rather have one honest hour with a woman who is struggling than ten polished minutes with a woman who is performing.
Outside of the work, you will usually find me with a coffee I let go cold, a book I am in the middle of four chapters of, or in the garden, which is the place I think most clearly.

How I got here
The moments that made this work matter to me.
2008
The first time I sat in a room full of women and said out loud that I was struggling, the relief on the faces around me was something I had not expected. Nobody said a word. They just exhaled. That room taught me that most women are waiting for someone to go first. I decided that could be me.
2015
The year I burned out completely, I stepped back from every leadership role I had. I thought it would feel like failure. It felt, eventually, like the first honest thing I had done in years. I came back to the work differently. Slower. More certain about what actually mattered.
2021
Writing Held Together meant putting things on paper I had never said to anyone. I almost did not publish it. The women who have written to me since are the reason I am glad I did. When a woman tells me the book said what she had been afraid to admit, that is the whole point. That is why this is worth doing.

What women walk away with
Women who come to Rose’s events do not leave with one more thing to add to the list. They leave with something taken off.
They leave with permission to be honest with God, with their doctor, and with themselves. They leave knowing that struggling and trusting are not opposites. That needing help is not a lack of faith. That rest was always allowed.
They sleep a little better. They stop apologising for being human. They keep their faith, and they stop resenting it. That is what Rose speaks toward. That is what the book is built on. That is what the podcast comes back to every Thursday.

Why women trust Rose with the hard stuff
The work speaks for itself
Rose speaks at churches, women’s conferences, and leadership events. Her book Held Together: Finding Rest When Anxiety Says You Can’t walks women through facing anxiety and burnout without losing their faith. Her podcast The Unhurried Heart releases new episodes every Thursday.
She is not a therapist. She will tell you that herself and she will mean it. She works alongside professional help and actively encourages every woman she meets to find it. What she offers is what no clinician can provide: honest story, Scripture that meets the mess, and a room where nobody has to pretend.
