My Journey
From silent journaling to sharing words that comfort and connect…
2012
Started journaling every morning as a quiet way to process my thoughts, doubts, and emotions. I didn’t share a word with anyone, but those pages became a sacred space — and the beginning of something that would eventually grow.
2014
Took a local writing course just for fun. I was terrified to share anything out loud, but one piece resonated deeply with the group. That unexpected response made me wonder if maybe my quiet voice mattered after all.
2016
I hit a wall and quietly burned out. I stepped back from everything: work, goals, even writing. I learned to rest, slowly and awkwardly. That season broke me open — and it taught me how to come back more gently, with intention.
2018
Spoke at my first women’s retreat. It was a small group, nothing flashy — but deeply moving and unexpectedly affirming. I realized that I didn’t have to perform or impress. I just had to show up and be real, fully present, and honest.
2021
Finished writing Quiet Strength for Weary Hearts. It wasn’t fast or flawless — just honest. I wrote through exhaustion and doubt, showing up to the page anyway. That book became both a personal milestone and a gentle offering.
2024
I stepped into this work full-time — writing, speaking, and sharing with women around the world. It still feels surreal some days, but I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be: steady, grateful, and deeply rooted.
